The situation for Indian sugar mills is finally looking up, but for how long?
Despite the deadlier second wave of the viral pandemic that should adversely im-pact the demand from bulk buyers, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) com-panies and households, equities for Indian sugar manufacturers have shot up by as much as 75% in the last month. The increase partly reflects a bullish stock market and rising food inflation.
