The average ethanol price at Brazilian fuel stations rose 18.6% in 2024 to BRL4.27 (US$0.72) per litre, when the biofuel was more competitive than gasoline in most parts of the country, according to the Edenred Ticket Log Price Index (IPTL), which consolidates price data from around 21,000 pump stations around Brazil, reports Sugaronline.Tags: Ethanol, Prices, fuels
