Post forecasts the South African sugar cane crop will increase by 2 percent to 19.5 million Metric Tons (MT) in the 2019/20 Marketing Year (MY), due to normal weather conditions, improved sugar cane yields and increases in area planted for small scale growers who receive support from the industry.
